The Plant
Verbascum thapsus grows along roadsides and meadows. Its leaves feel like felt.
Tradition
In European folk herbalism the leaves and flowers were brewed into a warm tea for chest and throat comfort. Modern research is limited, so it is best seen as a traditional herb.
